Atom-The Product of Cosmic Consciousness

There is an inherent connection between the universe and an atom. All life as we now know, is made of atoms alone. How can a plant have something, as Aristotle has rightly pointed out which is not embedded in its seed? They say, if you know this piece of life, you will know everything in the universe. But nobody has ever seen an atom till now.

The first tangible object of the universe that came into existence was the nucleus of an atom. An atom in largely comprised of empty space. The nucleus consists of neutrons and protons. Protons carry positive charge and neutrons are neutral. Electrons with negative charge circle around the nucleus. Since atoms are empty, all matter is empty, including our biological systems. To cling to the atom, an electron has to have these specific amounts of energy. The higher the energy, the farther from the nucleus the electron is likely to be found.

Stephen Hawking says, an electron orbiting around the nucleus could be thought of as a wave, with a wavelength that depended upon its velocity. These waves behave as particles if, and only if, they interact with a field. Fields are the preexisting foot-rests on which alone the matter-particles can stand up and register their presence. Fields are not many. There is only one field, the Grand Unified Field of Cosmic Consciousness.

Therefore, the basic thing about the atoms is that their structural and functional mysteries cannot be understood unless we know what is it that the nucleus itself is revolving around. It is not enough to see the movement of the electrons around the nucleus as a repercussion of the attraction pull of the protons in the nucleus. The empty space inside the atom, demarcated by predeterminable orbits, raise some very important questions which, if answered in full with the help of quantum physics and scriptures, also solve the riddle of life.

The artworks have a universal language, a new story to tell with an innovative technique not intimidated by the past and beautifully playing with the subtlety of the watercolor medium.

These watercolor on papers depict kind of a visual image of the atom, its various forms and movement in the Grand Unified Field. Artist is dreaming of how the creation or the physical form came into existence at first place. These water color works touch upon these various aspects of Cosmic understanding and philosophy in a manner that is deeply visual and experiential. These paintings evoke a very personal and yet universal understanding of the Cosmic belief and energy and it touches the inner core of humanity shaking loose the weight of our own mundane existence with the power to embrace something larger something that is both scientific and yet divine.

Ultimately, the purpose of human life has to be convincingly answered, and that cannot happen unless we probe into the moorings coming from our evolutionary past.
